World Has Burdened Me

This world has burdened me 

It's not letting me live my life 

The life I want to dwell 

The life I should enjoy 

The life I hoped for 

I'm not supposed to live according to them 

Why are they interfering? 

I don't ask them 

To put their expectations on me 

And put my desires into a garbage bag 

And set that on fire 

My heart is heavy 

What am I suppose to do? 

In these sleepless nights 

I'm thinking about my future 

And trying to run away from my present 

I'm supposed to live in the moment 

But this world has taken my right of doing so 

Oh! this pain emanating from my heart 

Would just drown me one day 

All because 

This world has burdened me
